 Bouquet of Carnation

Second sunday in May is the mother's day in Japan, and it is a custom to present red carnation to mother. Carnation is a bit difficult plant to grow in the pot and garden under the summer heat and very high humidity in Japan. I air dried carnation from my daughter, and crafted this arrangement to enjoy her present a bit longer in this year.
Carnation with Rambs ear Carnation flower shrinks after air drying, but with the combination of lagrus, I crafted country style bouquet.

Please try arragement with dried Carnation after enjoying it as fresh flower arrangement for a while.

Material & Tools
 Carnation (pink), Lagrus (pale green), Raffia, Reel wire (28 gauge), a pair of pliers, flower scissors
