７月から８月にかけて庭で収穫した草花を使い、メアリーポピンズのようなイギリスのナニーにぴったりの夏の麦藁帽子を作りました。 主役は今年、種から育てた黄色と橙色のアフリカン･マリーゴールド。茶色から黄色の色の幅を出すため、夏に天日干ししたオレンジスライス、松かさ、やしがらの繊維を使いました。 緑には、それぞれテクスチャーの違うアイリッシュモス、薄緑色のアジサイを、またリボンに合わせてメタリックな銀白色のアサギリソウを使ってみました。

Using harvests from my garden from July to August, I arranged the summer hat, which perfectly fits for the image of English nanny like Marry Poppins. Main cast is the yellow and orange African Marigolds grown from the seeds in this summer. To show the width of color from yellow to brown, I add orange slices dried under the sunny summer days, pine cones, and coconut fibers. Green leaves are green Hydrangea flowers, Artemisia schmidtiana, and Irish mosses.
